By applying these simple strategies to your current workout regiment you can seriously step up your results.

The following five tips will help you seriously improve the effectiveness of your workout, and if you apply them these tips on a regular basis you will be well on your way to getting a ripped set of 6 pack abs!

The more of these strategies you apply the better, but the most important strategy to apply is to make exercise a priority in your life and to do your best to make time to work out every single day.

1. Establish a Strong Workout Routine

If you plan to get a 6 pack you will need to figure out the three to five days a week that work the best for you to workout, and then stick to them.

Write these days on your calendar and make your workout a priority.

2. Make Exercise a Habit

If you can manage your schedule so that you exercise at the same time everyday this will help it happen almost automatically.

Even on days that are not “workout days” try to integrate some form of exercise to keep your body burning calories.

For example, you can try going for a walk after a meal to help your body digest your food.

3. Tackle Chores That Burn Calories

Cut the grass in the summer. Trade in your riding mover for a push mower that makes you sweat to use it.

Start a garden in the summer. This can have the added benefit of giving you healthy and delicious fruits and vegetables to enjoy!

Shovel snow in the winter, if you live in a cold climate. Use this tip with caution if you are older, as I hear of older people every year who get a stroke from this very activity.

4. Hire a Personal Trainer

When you are shelling out cold hard cash for training and missing a workout means losing money there is a very good chance that you won’t pass on your workout.

A personal trainer can give you encouragement to help you stay committed, and give you exercise ideas and nutrition tips that will help you achieve your 6 pack goal!

5. Workout With a Friend

When you have a friend that you workout with on a regular basis you will feel compelled to workout because you will know that your friend will be counting on you to be there.

Friends are often very encouraging and will help you reinforce your workout goals.  If you have a goal that you tell to a friend you will be more inclined to achieve your goal than if you just thought about it to yourself.

6. Get Solid Exercise Audio

I have a few podcasts that I listen to occasionally when I am exercising, but usually I like to stick with intense music that gets me in the zone.

Figure out the music that helps you get focused, and this can make a big difference to the mindset and focus you can achieve at the gym.

Apply these tips to your workout routine, and you will be amazed at the results you can achieve, and at how fast you start to see your 6 pack coming in!
